Safety and Security
In 1970, the federal government passed the Occupational Safety and Health Act in an effort to get both employers and employees to reduce hazards and injuries in the workplace. The act also encouraged companies to put safety and health programs into place. It is beneficial to everyone that the workplace be a safe and healthful.
